She’s one of my go-to inspirations for style, beauty and travel. Julia Engel and her beau, Thomas Berolzheimer, have been seamlessly curating Gal Meets Glam for what seems like a lifetime, and her partnerships and travel excursions just keep getting better. Specifically we are enjoying this fashionista’s beauty rituals because her skin is flawless, and, also because (let’s get real) we all need great skin to rock any ensemble!
Off to Sunny California, TTYL!
Although GalMeetsGlam isn’t from Philly, we think you should run, not walk, to her blog ASAP because it is (for starters) beautiful! We aren’t in love with pastels 100 percent of the time, but Hengel really presents her style consistently and sweetly. She still keeps us guessing with her travel to NYFW this week wearing beautiful, deep fall colors. Her autumnal appeal has been spot on, and we are happy to see some variance in color scheme because these other colors are really doing wonders for her social feed! Her syle is proper, but modern with a hint of sass, which we love. Who doesn’t love a well-rounded Spot86Chick?
Engel’s blog travels through cities (and countries), but some of our favorite posts are of her in San Francsisco at her beautiful home. She and Berolzheimer really have captured her essence in her home and how-to posts on the blog. They make a great team because you all have to wonder who is taking all of these fab photos, am I right? It’s also beautiful to see their relationship flourish even more, even though I’m sure it’s (so) hard for Berolzheimer to gaze at his wife all day long through a lens, NOT!
Yes, our Fashionista Friday pick is, again, from another city other than Philly, but we love the contrast of different city bloggers. Everyone represents their city in such a beautiful, passionate way that we want to sometimes follow them to that place just to see how great it is! Gal Meets Glam really gives us a case of FOMO while she depicts her travels, but she plays it out in such an endearing way that makes us want to fall in love with these cities.
