Happy Soul Sunday everyone! And what a beautiful Sunday it is! Today, the Spot86 Chix decided to go on a field trip and find a new place to have brunch, the most important meal of the week. We explored the usual list of Philadelphia favorites, but we wanted to venture out a little more. Eventually, we stumbled upon a little place called the Trolley Car Diner.
At the Trolley Car Diner you can slip into a booth and enjoy the 1950s flare. Feel like Elvis or Audrey when you order a delicious milkshake (regular or spiked) and a succulent burger. The Trolley Car Diner’s milkshakes may bring all the boys to the yard, but we came for the brunch food!
The Spot86 chix enjoyed a spread consisting of “build your own” omelettes, waffles, toast, and of course… MIMOSAS! It wouldn’t be a brunch excursion without a little champagne.
Our verdict: Fskafbef amazing! Everything tasted so fresh. As a locally owned business, Trolley Car Diner aims to purchase ingredients from local merchants. The large menu is loaded with local treasures, including finger-licking produce from a farm in Lancaster County and even right from our owners’ garden.
“The simple fact is food tastes better when it comes from people you know.”
Words cannot express how great this place is. You’ll just have to check it out yourself. To learn more about the Trolley Car Diner, visit their website, http://trolleycardiner.com.
