It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for all week… No, it’s not payday, but we also love that… It’s brunch! It’d difficult to find the best brunch, and some believe that we accept the brunch we think we deserve. No matter the city your in, there are so many different brunch spots in Philly that us Spot86Chix love. This is your Brunch Bandit edition for this week’s Soulfood Sunday! jFor bottomless brunch try out Jones and for brunch with a view try out Continental Midtown rooftop. But, for an exceptional brunch, I love Parc Brasserie. Not only do I love French cuisine- the scene is beautiful at Parc.
Even if you don’t dine al fresco with the view of the Rittenhouse Park, it still feels like you’re in France. There aren’t many places in the city that take you away to another city both visually and with taste. That is why brunch at Parc feels like you’ve taken a private jet to France, when you’re actually just heading to Rittenhouse Square. Add some escargot and Frose (frozen rose for you brunch amateurs) and we are in heaven! There other cocktails and classic mimosa are also to die for. Parc serves the classic brunch options such as Eggs Benedict and the best pain perdu (legit FRENCH toast) I’ve had since I’ve traveled to Paris. Don’t even get me started on their dessert menu. I won’t lie when I say that I am one of those people who will order the dessert cheese because WHY NOT!? In addition, they serve in a traditional more elite way so I would dress to impress.
Brunch is one of my favourite weekend activities because of the time you get to spend with family and friends. It’s a little more exclusive and formal than just a breakfast and doesn’t everyone love drinking in the afternoon? A brunch is almost like a celebration for the weekend, and I definitely love to celebrate. There are so many brunch spots, pastries and morning cocktails to choose from, so we are happy to give you some pointers on where to go! Parc is definitely a little more pricey, but hey you deserve it! Run don’t walk to Parc this holiday weekend for Frose before they run out!
