It’s boot season my fellow Fashion Slaya’s! And every fashionista wants that “it” boot to “make them pieces hit”! Lol. A key piece to every fall/ winter wardrobe. Here are the two boots that are running our pockets mad and flying off the shelves!
The Givenchy Shark Lock Boot
Although; this boot has been around for a few years now, it has managed to stay fresh and current. These two factors are key components to a true “piece”. A TRUE “piece” has staying power and doesn’t look dated. The Givenchy shark lock boot has all these very key elements. Throughout the years the color have changed but the aesthetic has remained the same.
The red and “nudeish” colors have both been discontinued (unfortunately) but something tells me with the surge in popularity this year, you very well may see the “nude” making a return. Fingers crossed and this is another “Spot86 Predicts” prediction.
the boot (in various colors) recently went on sale; this of course caused the boot to ultimately sell out in the newer colors. However; the black& brown are both still available and at most major retailers for about $2100 for the taller version and $1800 for the shorter boot. Ouch! We often give you the “lo” version but this is a style that CAN NOT AND SHOULD NOT BE DUPLICATED!! Ladies I’m sorry but if you can’t afford the boot just don’t do it! Trust me you won’t have that “look”. But if you’re adventurous go for it at your own risk!
Stuart Weitzman Highland Boot
This is thee everything boot! Sweaters, jeans, dresses, dress up, dress down– you gotta have this style! Suede is the preferred, lighter colors the lick!
Unlike the Givenchy boot, the simplicity of the Highland makes it a better candidate for duplication. This Steve Madden version ( available at Macy’s.com) is a “cute” reproduction of the original. Although the boot is made of synthetic materials, it’s still pretty spot on to the original. The Stuart Weitzman retails for about $800 while the Steve Madden version is $149 on sale at Macy’s. Enjoy ladies XOXOXO
